The questions we are asked first
- How does booking work?
- You write to us with your dates and the house you have in mind, through the form or on WhatsApp. A host answers personally and confirms the stay directly with you. There is no agency in between and no booking fee on top.
- Where is Valle d'Itria?
- In Puglia, the heel of Italy, between Bari and Brindisi. It is the countryside of the white towns, Ostuni, Cisternino, Locorotondo and Martina Franca, and of the trulli, the conical dry-stone houses the area is known for.
- How do we get there?
- Fly to Brindisi (BDS), about 40 minutes from the houses by car, or to Bari (BRI), a little over an hour. Hire a car: the valley is small roads, olive groves and the coast, and none of it is reached by train.
- When is the best time to come?
- May, June and September are warm without the August heat and the beaches are quiet. July and August are high summer, with the sea at its best. October is still mild, with the olive harvest under way.
